The veg beds are maybe not as exciting as livestock but are critical to a self sufficient life. They do not need to be particularly large to keep us with a stunning, tasty, year round supply of produce but they do take a lot of planning and work. Surplus veg is frozen, pickled, preserved or fed to the pigs.
