All our birds free range in the orchard, fertilising the trees, keeping pests under control and enjoying the windfall fruits. We keep and breed Rhode Island Reds, Light Sussex and Norfolk Black turkeys. The traditional 'dual purpose' chicken breeds give us a good supply of eggs and the surplus cockerels make excellent table birds. If you think you dont like turkey, you have probably never tried a true free range, slow grown traditional breed.
